...took place yesterday afternoon. She slept a good bit of the time we visited, waking up long enough for "Grandma M" to give her a bottle, then curling up on Grandpa's chest and going soundly back to sleep! While Jonathan busied himself someplace else most of this visit, Sophia spent most of it sitting as close to Victoria as possible. She's so very excited to have a baby sister to help look after! Joshua and Isaac woke from naps while we were there. Joshua was showing off his many faces, and Isaac caught himself in a net. Victoria's mom and dad were looking just a "bit" worn out, so we kept the visit short. I'm sure we'll be back to spend more time with them all soon!

The "new" master bedroom...
Unfortunately, these photos do no justice to the paint colors in the master bedroom! The walls are a pretty cream color, the doors and trim a few shades darker with a hint of gold. The new comforter, bed skirt and pillow shams work well with throw pillows and other fabrics already in the room. And, Larry redid Sassy and Nica's "bottom step" to the bed with paint color matched to the comforter and a remnant of the new carpet. The as yet undelivered vertical blind over the balcony sliding door is nearly exactly the same color as our new bed skirt. The updated fireplace looks even better with all the fresh new paint and carpet in the room. We couldn't be happier about all the work done this spring
The master bath gets a new look...
A fresh coat of paint, new faucets and new vanity lights give this room a much needed update, as do the new new framed mirrors replacing the solid unframed one that once spanned the bathroom counter. A print once belonging to me dad came back to life in a cool new frame next to the medicine cabinet. Couldn't get a good picture of our new shower door, but we sure do love it!
Our beautiful, clean stairs...
It's so nice not to have a gray path up the staircase! Nica thinks the new stuff is mighty comfy, too!
