...and a foggy New Year!

By late afternoon yesterday, Costa Mesa, (much of Orange County) was socked in with heavy fog. How glad the two of us were to be tucked into our home, cuddling the dogs and enjoying the soft light of the tree and other decorations. We supped on bean and ham soup (anxious to put the bone from Sunday's dinner to good use!) and worked to stay awake long enough to see the ball fall in Time Square. Around 11:00, Larry took the dogs out for their final walks of the night and noticed how striking the fog made the street and holiday lights in the community look.
