Getting back into the planting...

With fumigation (finally) behind us, it's been time to try and get our outside growing things back into shape. All the old water garden plants had either overgrown their pots or simply worn out. We are pleased with this season's selection of agua-lovers, and with the new paint job on the tub, thanks to grandson, Brandon.
Some river-rock salvaged from another "project" started us on our way to matching our neighbors treatment of the strip of land between our front entries. Of course our salvage wasn't nearly enough - took five more bags, but we love the way it looks, and really are enjoying that unusual colored impatiens in the pot!
Some replacement herbs will soon have our "culinary" pot filled in nicely.
The statis (sea lavender) is coming into it's glory, and Margaret just can't stop taking pictures of the callas because she knows the season is almost over. Loving spring!
