While sitting in the living room on a rainy afternoon a couple of days ago, we noticed Squirrel trying to climb up the bird feeder pole, and sliding back down, time after time. When we got to the window with the camera, there he sat on the ground, looking like he was giving up. Within seconds of putting the camera back in it's case, sure enough, he tried again and made it! He worked SO hard for that, we just couldn't begrudge him his seed feast. We were just sorry we missed a picture of him making the climb!
