Late last week we received a postcard from George written on a car ferry as they were traveling from Whittier to Valdez.
Later in the day, a mass family/friend email arrived. On Thursday they had spent the night in Beaver Creek YT, the western most community in Canada. They were about to embark on the Alaskan Highway heading back to the lower 48 states. He mentioned that neither he or his friend Tom had taken razors on the trip. We can only hope that there will be pictures of these unshaven "mountain men" to share!
Yesterday we got a short phone message from Yellowstone National Park, where they were awaiting an eruption of Old Faithful. From there they were headed east, due back in Battle Creek no later than Sunday, the 7th.
Every communication has been filled with joy - the travelers have been blessed with beautiful weather and an abundance of amazing sights. Again, we are so thrilled for all of them!
