Wrapping lights and holly around the stair railing has become one of Larry's annual holiday jobs. (He offered and Margaret certainly isn't going to argue; It's hard work!) For the next several weeks negotiating the stairs without use of the top rail is excellent core muscle exercise!
After the most precious decorations come out of storage in the steamer trunk that belonged to Margaret's grandparents, Christmas teddies take up residence on top. Sassy and Nica think they are part of the decorations, too!
