As we headed back towards the beach, we got off the 101 at a historical marker sign in search of what we thought might be an interesting adobe. We never did find the adobe, but we drove past this funky cafe, The Mayor's Place (open from 6:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m., according to the sign) that had us both laughing. Just had to save that sight for posterity.
