Traveling south on Highway 1 you can see Morro Rock from miles away. It is imposing and beautiful all at once. We had a dog-friendly restaurant referral in Morro Bay, a place called Dorn's, with a patio that overlooked the bustling beach city below. (The human chess board was like nothing we'd seen before!) We were both quite taken with this town and could see ourselves coming back some time in the future. With a balcony overlooking the ocean, what more could we ask for a view days of R&R?
