The cool, sea air in Ventura definitely revved up our appetites. The sun still hadn't broken through at lunchtime, but that didn't dampen our enthusiasm for lunch on the water. (It's this cool, moist air coming off the ocean that is now giving fire-fighters a bit of an upper hand on the Santa Barbara blazes only 30 some miles farther north.)
This bit of video was shot from the restaurant's deck where we chowed down on burgers and chicken sandwiches with spicy fries.
